This big work has some very small details. It you look into the stream, you will see small shy trout, swimming. Broken glacier polished granite is snuggled by deep rich meadow. This work was inspired by my experience in Stubblefield Canyon, Yosemite. It is west of the Pacific Crest. The little stream had ducks in it when we visited. We saw some big bucks troting through the rocks, far above. This was a good day to be in the high country — no thunderstorms in sight.
