This painting is purely a sense-of-life celebration, completed early in my painting career, circa 1994. Henry the bear poses for a portrait before hitting the town, bedecked in his green satin ribbon, a juicy nectarine at one paw, a crystal cup at the other, ready to drink in as much of the good life as he might find. The original Henry teddy bear, the model for this painting, is available to accompany the original painting to its new home.
