The release of this Sylvia Bokor special limited-edition giclee marks a tribute to the artist whose work helped inspire me to pursue a career in art and eventually to open the QCFA gallery. About 20-years ago, a small black-and-white image of this very painting was featured on a flyer promoting prints of same. At the time, I couldn't afford the print, which was soon thereafter "sold out," but I thumb-tacked the flyer to the wall above my computer in the tiny basement room in which I was living while waiting tables to make ends meet. Witnessing the proof that art such as this could be created, this glorious celebration of the joy of living, was deeply motivating, inspiring and directly instrumental in my pursuing my path, the path which has resulted, in part, in being able to present to the public all of this wondrous art over the years. I did finally get my hands on one of those original prints, which is now nicely framed and hanging above the sofa in our living room. Thank you, Sylvia. I hope this beautiful limited edition on canvas sells well for you. It's still one of my very favorite works of art ever, and always will be. If life is not for moments such as this...?
