Restrictions and Passport Information
A Royal Caribbean vacation is an experience you'll never forget. And we want to help you get the very most out of every moment. So we've put together a few basic guidelines to help ensure a safe and timely departure for all our guests.
- Friends and relatives are welcome to come to the dock to see you off. However, for security reasons, they will not be allowed to board the ship at any port.
- In order to ensure everyone has time to pass through security, all guests must check in at least 60 minutes in advance of scheduled departure. If you have not checked in 60 minutes prior to departure, you will be considered a no-show, and your booking will be cancelled and cancellation penalties applied.
- Starting December 31, 2006, the U.S. Government is introducing new passport rules that will affect travel to many destinations.
Effective December 31, 2006 the U.S. Government's Intelligence Reform Bill requires passports for all air and sea travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda. Don't risk disrupting your travel plans! If you are planning to join us, please take a minute to review the new regulations below. If you don't already have a valid passport, be sure to avoid the rush and give yourself plenty of time to apply for one. Once you've got a passport in hand, the whole world is yours to explore. - Cruise passengers will be required to present a valid passport during ship check-in formalities.
- Passengers not holding a valid passport should apply for one as soon as possible.
- Guests holding ARC/Green Card are exempt.
